2. Registry Ceremony: $90
As an appointed VCANZ Registry Celebrant, I am authorised to do these very strict ceremonies that were once performed in our NZ District Courts. It can now be performed at your home, a park or somewhere local to all of us. Registry ceremonies are limited to 10 guests. You need to arrange a celebrant and a venue. No professional photographer, decorations, wedding music, cake cutting etc, is not allowed at this fee. You can no longer get married at Births Deaths Marriages offices at Internal Affairs. It’s important to note that Registry Ceremonies are a simple, civil legal ceremony which works to a set script and standard vows. As an authorised Registry celebrant I am able to do these anywhere local to my home address of Te Atatu South - however, I can travel anywhere in Auckland (greater Auckland or around NZ) but is considered a Personalised Ceremony.
$90 Registry Ceremonies by law must be done between 9am-5pm (last booking for the day is 4.30pm), Monday to Friday depending on location, excluding public holidays and the Christmas/New Year holiday period. No initial celebrant meetings allowed, no consultation, no music or walk-in song, bring 2x witnesses, templated ceremony supplied by BDM. Do you need a Wedding Venue for your Registry Ceremony? Feel free to contact me and book my Small Private Venue at my home for an extra $50. Registry marriages should not occur from 23 December 2023 to 7 January 2024. Those are the same dates that BDM's offices are closed to the public.
After Hours, Weekends and Public Holidays are categorised as a Personalised Ceremony; more than 10 people is a personalised ceremony, adding personal vows, professional photographers, wedding decorations, hiring a limousine is a personalised wedding etc. Please consider being on time, as I may have another wedding after yours. Please read through all my terms here. You can apply for your Marriage Licence here. Civil Union Marriage Licences here.

Harakeke Flowers.
Huge thank you to Mikayla of Harakeke Flowers who did such an amazing job. Not only my posy, but the bridesmaids, boys buttonholes, cake topper, hapene wrap around the cake, hair accessories, head table centrepiece.
My thinking was to gift all the flowers to my bridal party after the ceremony and reception so they had this to keep for many years and the colour lasts a while when dyed correctly.
You can see these gorgeous flowers hanging in my private Wedding Venue here in Te Atatu South, Auckland.
Reception Dancing.
An honour dancing for our family. The Tau’olunga traditional tongan dance is only done by females.
This fine mat costume I was wearing, has been kept through the generations and is over 80 years old. You can see family coming up and placing money on me as I dance.
Grateful to my mother who taught me this dance - song: Fangailupe Malu Efiafi.
